i think i'm actually gonna try this one out and see. this one is with the sears wearhouse down in the industrial sector. 7-3 sunday through thursday $12 /hour

the pay isn't all that great, but it's more than i was making in kamloops, and i think i will like this work (until i can find higher paying)

Derek

OK, you got hired for the same amount I'm making at Volvo, and I have already got a raise.

I think it's time to start rethinking this job choice.

Congrats on the job man, there are tons in this town for just about anything you want.

yaya I know. It just sucks balls. I hate talking with cusomters and I will never get into the back now because I know the computer system. So I will be an advisor for as long as i'm here and it blows. Most volvo owners are fricken idiots and whine about everything they broke on thier cars.

Even if I had the same schedual as the other guys, 4 days a week, I would love it but working the same hours as them plus an extra day is burning me out!

i dont think it's the 5 days a week...it's dealing with the people

trust me raz, you be fired after your first customer...i hear people at the dealership (i visit about once a week on avg. ) and they are the dumbest people alive...not the employee's and not EVERY customer

but most...i hear Advil is a sponsor of the dealership is that true?

I agree, I managed a dealership and you are dealing with a person's first love, "take my spouce but do not screw with my car" People think cars should never break down, everything should be covered by warantee, mechanics should work for free, parts .... you get my drift. It is a very thankless job

Exactly!

I bust my balls to get a good deal for people and I dont even get a thanks. So I have stopped caring, now I dont give a rats ass if they are broke, they are gonna pay.

I understand that people wont thank me for anything but everyone is always in a pissy mood and it really brings me down.

Ohh and yes working almost 11 hours a day (now I seem to start at 7am for some reason) 5 days a week starts to wear me out.
