I was plotting, (dangerous, I know) and wishing for summer.

And while I was wishing for summer I remembered what a big deal the Three Hills show is.

And while I was remembering fond memories of the sweet beasts that would cruise through Acme on their way in...or just do cruises and randomly show up in my little village, I thought to myself, and I said, self, we need to do a Volvo takeover on my fair village.

So here is my thought. I'm doing WAY FAR IN ADVANCE cause well, 1. I recently thought about it and 2. damn you people and your getting busy.

I am suggesting that we take over Acme, and have a bbq or something at my place after the fact. If we get lots and lots of interest though, we may have to take over a camping site or something....I don't have the biggest lot in the village lol.

Would you guys be interested in something like this? Or is my longing for summer and wish for warm weather getting to my head?

:axe:

PS. I have no idea when exactly Three Hills show is this year. I don't even know if a date HAS been set. lol

Man, I had a response all typed out and lost it by tring to use F'ing smilies. Anyway it would work for me. It's close to where my Mom lives and I've been meaning to get up to Red Deer and see the folks. We should crash the car show - I think that would be quite a lot of fun. :partyman:

Isn't three hills the same time as Lethbridge?

Lethbridge is a hoot, but ... more, my style - with street racing and retardedness, you know?

I went to three hills with Ian once, it was really nice - but very few hooliganisms, lots of nice and quiet people with amazing cars :)

(she's a terrifying monster, she is!)

By then, my yard SHOULD be all fenced....so dogs are welcome :)

Cool, Peaches looks just like Jetta but as a red head. Jetta is terrified of other dogs at the moment, in fact she only trusts little dogs and scary looking huskies (she's got a thing for sled dogs). Saturday at the dog park we ran into a group of chiuaua's (about eight) and she took off for the car. We all had to laugh at the big dog scared sh!tless of the gang of mexican's.

I go to that show every year. The truck club im slightly associated with usually has a side street taken over (the one with all the trucks sitting on the ground).

I would be in for stopping by after the show, and if I have my truck you guys can have some one to make fun of!! :D :D

Dude, I live in Acme. You will be in the majority. ;) It's the cars that are few and far between!

Yeah, it's Acme. 3/4 ton domestic pickups with cow shit caked to the fenders might be common, but little toy trucks dripping with chrome & hydraulics, sitting on their frame rails, driven very slowly by 20 year olds wearing popped collar golf shirts, ugly sunglasses, and baggy pants, talking on their cell phones constantly... are probably not.

Edit - let the abuse begin, right Tyler?

Umm, I have air bags

Other than that you got it close, minitruckers are mostly fat guys who drink way to much beer. And I have never 'popped' my coller!
