Just got back from Easter holidays in Ontario, and I figured I'd post some pics of the one Volvo place in Guelph. It's called Hamilton's Corner Garage. I'd been there before, but every time I go back, I'm amazed at what all is there. To my knowledge, the only wrecker in Canada that's got more Volvo's would be Chapman's on the Island. It's nuts.

I didn't get any pics of the store front, but its pretty much a dump with about 10 or 15 used Volvo's for sale. The yard is what blows me away.

AFAIK, most of this stuff is for parts. My brother has spoken with the one really good Volvo mechanic in the area, and he says Hamilton's pretty much thinks they're sitting on gold, so stuff isn't cheap. But still....

The Probe was really the anomaly in the yard.

Whiteblocks sitting in heaps. Alloys everywhere. I didn't venture too far into the back, but from what I could see, the whole back area was about the same.

There's P2 XC70's, V70s, but lots of old stuff too. Crazy. Just thought I'd share.

I wouldn't mind that C303 to off road!

It's a shame; by the time any of that stuff is of any value it really won't be worth very much because it's been sitting around like that for so long.

What is Hamlitons anyway, just a wreckers?

Yeah, I'd love that truck as well. So sweet. Indeed, I'm sure the guys collection of cars just grows, but he's probably not selling much of it.

The main building has a two bay garage in it, so most of the money would probably come from working on Volvo's in there. And I'm sure they just pillage the cars in the lot for parts when they need them. Other than that it just looks like he sells used Volvos and parts the rest out.

That is completely ridiculous...what a collection of parts, and to do nothing much with it is a crime (albeit not a heinous one).
