Look at what I got! They're in relly good shape for 16 years old rims! And got them with the tires for a really cheap price, it's almost a steal!

Well, I shouldn't complain about snow, I usually have a blast behind the wheel when it's snowing. (I drive faster on snow than during summer! I drift during winter and I drive like a grandma during summer! )

But I'm just too excited to put these rims on my car! (They mights be plain for you, but I dreamed for a long time to get something like that on my car! 8-[ )

I shouldn't say that I drive like a grandma, it's a bit extreme, but I usually don't step on it during summer. It's just that I feel better and have way more fun drifting at 80kph on snow on a deserted road with snow benches to catch you than having to drive at 180kph on the straight line and taking a corner at 160 with the ditch to catch you with the *censored* tourists every where... specialy that my suspension can handle the speed during winter, but would be a wish for death to try the same at higher speeed during summer.

I must see before if it's worth it to put any $$$ in my car before. For the wheels, I did need new summer tires and got them for cheaper than new tires... But for everything else, I'm a bit worried about the body and rust. I will need your expert eyes on this.

maybe where you live...down here they don't really use salt at all...just gravel

or are you talking about PQ (i assume you from there?) where yes they use more salt than ashphalt (spell) to make roads

ciao

Yes, I'm talking about Quebec. Here, they uses salt, but not much. They effectively uses sand. It's harsh on the windshield, but doesn't cause as much corrosion than salt. I don't know what they uses on the road in Quebec, but it's so strong that it even corrode the aluminium! (My license plate is "rusted"!)

By the way, I'm quite good in english behind a keyboard, but wait to hear my accent, you'll have fun!
