Just a reminder to those who were thinking about attending; it's on the weekend of August 6 and 7. There is never much publicity or information out there but here is a little bit...

Anyone going? What time is it? Cost for spectators? Man that site is horrible, the registration form is for 2007!

I was thinking of checking it out for a couple of hours in the morning.

Actual racing gets underway at 11:30 but there are practice sessions and qualifying prior to that so there are cars on the track starting at 9. The last vintage race is 2:00 and then at 2:30 it's the hour-long King of the Road race (the one with all the RX7s ). Sunday there is a lot more racing with the Australian Pursuit going at 10:30. There is racing Sunday right through until 4:00.

Craig and I are planning to be there. The weather looks good for both days. At this point we're planning to be there Saturday. Not sure about Sunday yet although that's really the day to be there to watch lots of racing.

There is no cost. Not sure if there is food for the general public...

Beautiful day for racing. Craig and I spent most of the day in the grandstands along with the 3 other spectators

Tomorrow I think I'll spend more time in the pits to get some close-ups of the cars when they're not moving...

That shot of John in his GT40 is priceless...he's looking right at us. And for the record, I took some of those shots (see if I try hard I can take a picture!  )
