hey everyone, im going to be bringing in my head to get a basic rebuild sometime this week and the guy said he'd throw on the A cam and adjustable timing gear for me(the one i bought off dale). Now for my b21FT+I with megasquirt project im thinking that i should go with around 6 degrees advance(any objections to this?) and i cant remember how to set it- basically what hole to tell the guy to set it at. Here is a pic, could someone tell me which one i should set it at(labeled with colored dots)

Thanks!

Jon

Yeah, each dot is 2*, and that looks like a 0-12 advance gear. Purple it is, and the guide plate notch installs/lines up in the usual place, so installing it is just about 100% like normal.

lol, yea i thought someone was going to comment on my hand modeling :D , This week was pretty productive, i got the oil lines mostly ready to go on, brought the head in with the a-cam and adjustable timing gear and i ordered an innovate LM-1 kit and bought an 850 TPS, probably the most progress in a few months! later this week i plan to have the whole bottom end done and ready for the head, and hopefully i can start the install the day after my bday
