Funny how as a parts guy you see the sharing of the platforms at times. I know this isn't news- there was a thread on Tbricks a long time ago when a guy said he bought an AWD turbo c30, and when you clicked on it, it was a Focus, IIRC.

Anyway, this made me think... at some point knowing-or rather, heck caring at all- about the differences between brands, makes one look foolish....too akin to wine-tasters blathering on about virtually non existent differences.

Certainly not the same culture as someone like Spen King -Rover 2000TC (whole car), Triumph Dolomite (the 16valve head) who left a whole career of things that worked, and worked well, but were examples in how to something completely different can work.
Just waxing philosophic....
