Head bolts
Cam bearing cap nuts
exhaust manifold stud(s)
more degreaser
All the little gadgets you need for the B230 intake swap (tbricks?)
Oil lines for turbo (braided and pretty?)
Alternator / Power steering belts
Water Pump( if cheap? ) with gaskets and seals that belong. (Changing water pump when changing timing belt and tensioner = good idea usually im told)

get head rebuilt or buy/lend/rent/borrow a valve stem compressor and change the seals ourselves?

if head gets rebuilt... deck + port/polish/grind = awesome

Wiring Harness (i'll take it off tomorrow for you)

Anyone else chime in stuff that andy needs to get his car back together...

J-hop, Andy has the engine gasket kit you left at my house.

.......... :?

awesome, is he going EFI? the b230 intake swap is pretty straightforward, the manifold to head gasket should be the same ( i think there is one in that bunch i left at your house) and he'll need one of those triangular throttle body gaskets probably, but yea just if i could get some cash from andy for the gaskets.

i believe i left:

-head gasket
-intake manifold gasket
-exhaust mani gaskets
-valve cover w/halfmoon rubber seal

i think thats everything?

as for the water pump, maybe order it from FCPgroton.com if no one has a new one for him, i think they sell scantechs for around $35 US, ive found that it takes a while to get my stuff from FCP though

Probably for less than the cost of all the parts you're buying you could have that freshly built b21A. You'd have to pull the pan to drill an oil return (easy with motor out) and change the intake manifold, but I think that'd be a much sweeter motor than just freshening the head on your b21FT. It'll either be 8.5 or 9.3:1 compression.

Head bolts -check

Cam bearing cap nuts -check

exhaust manifold stud(s) -check

more degreaser -who needs clean engine bays

All the little gadgets you need for the B230 intake swap (tbricks?) -not happening this time

Oil lines for turbo (braided and pretty?) -keeping stock for the moment until I figure out the sizes for fittings

Alternator / Power steering belts -check

Water Pump -check

get head rebuilt -check, into alberta chrome for a pressure test and slight deck

90+ manifold -check

oh....another thing I found out today....my turbo (I now have two) that I was using on the engine is the volvo .60/.42 or whatever it is. I thought that was kinda cool to find out.

Ok well i've spent all day (4 hours) working on the b230 intake manifold and I believe I can get it to work. I had to put the b21 TB on it (same size) because I didn't have all the switches and then use some good 'ol 140 throttle linkage bits to make it work but i'm positive that this will work.
