My wife and I bought her a '94 855 turbo a couple years back. It's a great car, aside from the well known weaknesses.

Welcome! We're still a small group and the traffic is of a local sort, but we're still a pretty good group of guys overall.

Yes, welcome mike! Some guys don't even have volvos here, but we all have fun. you just have to drive backwards if you want to cruise with us;-)

Weeeellll, the volvo awd system is 90% FWD most of the time, so he still has to drive backwards;)

Thanks for welcome everyone...The way I like to drive I think I invoke the rear wheels on a pretty regular basis

yeah we have a monthly meeting thread...but a lot of people are busy making there cars run...haha...including myself

I have a FWD. A 94 850 as a daily driver. I work as a Volvo tech at Volvo of winnipeg so I got a smokin' deal on it.

Every few blew moons I make it out that way. Meet ya one of these days

Seriously though, welcome to the group. You're right in pointing out that a lot of us have RWDs - I have 5 myself - 4 different models - but there are quite a few of us that have those new fangled FWDs. Not sure if there's anyone else with an AWD. You may be the only one so far.
