In May I find out if I actually get the apprenticship because I'm in compitition with another guy (and due to politics that I won't mention in public, he has a better chance becuase manitoba is a weird place). If I don't get it, we'll pack up and head back to BC where people are normal

right on...where people are normal! haha...i'm just kidding. calgary is cool, but i hate the drivers, the crime, and the people (non-volvo...so don't worry) lol.

Well Derek, I don't know if you can really compare Calgary with Kamloops in terms of crime, drivers, and people - I'm sure you'd find Vancouver to be much worse.

Besides, it's not like we've heard from you since you got here! Maybe we could make life a bit easier on you somehow with an active support group. All our phone numbers are posted, so ring one of us up and hang out once in a while!

i know. i haven't seen anyone lately. that's only because i can't afford to go out. so i stay at home where it's cheap. and i do apologize for being anti-social...but that will change soon. and like i said in a different thread, i'm still down for bowling.

where do you think people hang out??? i mean we go out once a month and all....which will prob change once the weather is better for outside BBQ's...but 99% of the times i see anyone else from the club is at someones house, mine included

so don't think you have to "go out"...to me going to Dale's shop is "going out"
