Hey everyone,

I am brand new the volvo world..I bought Matt's (Freakin) 1988 740T. So far I have put around 2000$ in repairs and work into it, and its running awesome. My name is Marc, I am a Calgary native. I look forward to the next meet so I can come out and see who all of you are =] . Well I think that's pretty much it, but if you have any questions feel free to pm me. :D

Look forward to meeting you Marc!

Just wondering where you put that 2000 into? I know cosmetically it wasn't great, but I thought Matt had it running pretty well no?

I actually had to rip out the manual boost controller, put in new vacuum hose, put in a new airbox, new headlight, new rear spring because the cut ones kept falling out..had the electronic overdrive fixed, also had to recently put in a new ignition motor and they worked on the clutch also. At this very moment, they are fitting it with a new lower control arm and strut (pin?/bolt) and new alloy on the front passenger side. The last one was all my fault... oh and they put in a new distrubutor, and fuel relays(x2)

Actually, my mechanic is pretty reasonable. I would work on it myself, but I have never come anywhere near a volvo in my life..I am a little daunted by the electronics in the car.
