Title says it all. I'd have a few minor stuff to take care on my car and I was wondering if somebody would be kind enough to teach me a few things.

I'm available to give advice on the how-to's. Bodywork is more art than science (although there is some science involved to be sure). But if you need advice on welding in sheet metal, tricks and tips...I've learned a few over the years. Given your location - hands on help would be difficult.

Cheers,
Craig

Never mind my location, that's a detail!

It's nothing major (maybe my roof at the rear), but the rust on the other places I once fixed is coming back...

I'd like to know if there's something I could do that would last a few years, because I don't think it would be worth to invest money in the mechanic if the body have more hole than the air filter...

As I said, minor stuff. But if I'm to keep this car let say another 4-5 years, I want to fix that damn windshield and doors where the rust keep coming back. And I'm really about to get a hole in my roof near the rear door (if not done already...)

I'm picky, I know. I'm a pessimist, I always see the bad stuff.

But I have no motivation to put 5$ in the mechanic if I'm not happy about what I see.

So, why not send in some pics and we'll see what we can do. The only method that truely works is to cut out the rusted out parts (provided they are perforated) and start again. All other methods are fromage and will rot out in no time.
