I had to rush up north tonight (I mean like 180 on deerfoot). Ras ingested a lot of seroquil (the anti-depressant/anti-phychotic) and when I found him he was pretty out of it. Not responsive at all, not speaking english, very close to comatose. I tried to carry him out to the car to get him to the hospital but 280 lbs gets heavy quick.

I called the ambulance and they showed up, still couldn't get him on a stretcher. We had to wait for two police officers to show up to help get him on the stretcher. They said that he was going to Foothills but I'm not sure if he's allowed in there so he might be at Peter Lougheed instead.

Hope your doing ok buddy, i'll be up this weekend to see you.

Anyone have an update?

I'll try to go to Calgary tomorrow if I feel better (I don't know what I did yesterday, but I have a huge back pain today).

I have no new news. I havn't talked to cody or anyone (don't know how to get hold of them anyway). I'll call the hospital tomorrow and see if he's still at foothills.

Update on Raz

As Andy has said he is at the Rockyview in ward 49 (phone 943-3849)

Sounds like they would like to keep him in for 14 days.
He would love some visitors, would also like some reading material and/or FOOD. I called the hospital and there are no restrictions on seeing him, but they ask that if you bring anything that you check in at the desk. Food & magazines no problem but they would like to know what is being brought in.

Ras sounded pretty mellow, I really think he needs some friendly faces and some support

Visiting hours
Weekends 2:30pm - 8:00pm
Weekdays 5:00pm - 9:00pm

Also he provided me with Cody's phone 698-6961

I cannot go tonight (already had a glass of wine)

I'll pass by next friday. This morning, I wasn't even sure if he was awake and my back was still killing me (better than yesterday, but doing 500km without being sure it's worth it...)

What kind of food does he likes?

14th st sw. Take glenmore some direction and then get off on 14th st and its the first right.

I went and saw him today once I finished my car, brought him a bargain finder and a lighter. I'm going to bring him some mcdonalds tomorrow and whatever, i'll probably be there half an hour to an hour.

He's going to move back to his moms for a little while, we were looking up garages for him to store a couple cars in so that he can keep them all.

I will visit him tomorrow (Monday) right after work, should be there by 5:00 and will bring him some food and a magazine :)
