But I gotta ask something...what time is the actual show and shine? it says it starts at 9am but is that the cruise starting at 9am or t he show n shine at 9am? I mean, come on, miss viv's great and all but she's not in show condition so I'm obviously not participating in this one....but I wanna be there at a decent time and with decent time to drool sufficiently over various cars

The cruise startes at 9:00am and they estimate 1.5 - 2 hours for the first car to complete the route. So I would say most of the cars should be back by noon.

hmm wonder if i should go and just do the cruise? i mean, it's all for a good cause...

I only worry about the show n shine...I mean, come on, what do i have?

Dad's are programmed to always say NO at first... if he did not know about the clay bar process, I can understand why he would initially think "no child of mine is going to rub a dirty piece of clay on a nice paint job and think it will make it shinier".

NOT a good day for a car show, but Kat and I were there, toughing it out. Considering the weather, turn-out was quite good and the cruise from Calgary to Cochrane via highway 1 and 22, then returning by 1A was fun. Police escort and allowing the long group of cars through all the traffic lights.

Thanks for coming Kat, Joan & I really enjoyed having you there, by the way your umbrella got left in my car
