1989 FORD 5.0L V8 & 1991 AOD Transmission This engine and transmission is installed in a 1984 Volvo 760. In 2000, with 185000 km on the car, I had a shop in Victoria BC install a 5.0L (302 cubic inch) V8 out of a 1989 Ford Mustang, along with a 1991 Ford AOD automatic transmission. The engine had 140000 km on it when installed, and has since had about 100000 km put on it. Main seals, head and exhaust gaskets, and timing chain were replaced at time of installation. In 2003, the transmission was professionally rebuilt, and has since had approximately 50000 highway km put on it. The main radiator clutch fan was replaced with 2 Hayden 14" electric fans. I have also added an MSD coil and full size conical K&N air filter. The engine and transmission are in strong running shape. The Volvo itself has IPD sport springs and larger anti-sway bars installed. $500.00. . St Albert. Tel: 780-458-7852

You can either get keys cut for it at a locksmith, or swap out the door, trunk, and ignition locks.

I think that 5.0 and tranny does include the car by the sounds of it...I guess he's thinking the only thing worthwhile is the engine and tranny. Quite a good price at $500, and the price is mentionned twice at that, so I'm thinking its not a typo...

Good plan. Keep them Volvo gods happy, I say. To make up for my earlier indescretions with cross-breeding, I've since bought up one of each of the white, red, and PRV motors. I think I'm good for a little while...

damn rights you're good for a while...you now have a BLUE 700 series...

might as well give in and get some strobes and the underglow on the go too
