That's the latest from Vintage Performance. All my stuff is ready and Parker said that things would be shipped either today Feb 19th or tomorrow Feb 20th 2008. We should start a pool, who ever wins, gets a case of beer from me (your flavour, or wine if you prefer).

May 26th (note I've not given a year)

I'm going to be optimistic and say March 28th.

Hmmm....this is tough to call....

Considering the last time he said he'd ship things "tomorrow" was about 4 months ago, I'm going to position myself cautiously towards the beginning of summer, say June 5th.

I will take my pool winnings in the form of delicious squares, like the ones I sampled over Christmas.


If that shit ever arrives, I'm going to personally deliver alcohol to YOUR door Craig, and we shall celebrate.

April 1st, it'll arrive and you'll not be sure whether it's a joke or not!!!

I called VPD again this morning and the parts are "shipping today" - hmmm, where have I heard this before? That's 6 weeks in a row that my parts are shipping on Monday!

Here's my weekly update.

I couldn't get VPD on the phone Monday, or Tuesday, but did manage to catch him this morning. He keeps telling me that the parts are shipping today - I've been ramping up the heat (called him out about the various shipping dates and just which Monday he was shipping on, reasons for the delays, etc...now there is no reason for the last month that things can't be shipped - all the parts are done apparently), but he just doesn't care. All I ever get is that he will be shipping today and e-mailing me the confirmation number.

I'm keeping track of the phone calls at this point as I'm strongly considering finding a way to have him charged with theft (and having a record is vital). It won't be easy, but I may not be seeing any parts ever. Deirdre and I are also going out east for Christmas next year and I'd be glad to drive to Syracuse to visit his shop and save on the shipping.

Here's the latest..."Your parts have shipped. UPS tracking # 1Z9AX9386898667610
They should arrive on the 17th."

Damn near fell off my chair. I checked the number and it is good. The package didn't include my springs - they are suppose to go next week.

UPS? Ugh...now you'll have to give up Jetta for brokerage fees...

No point in complaining at this point...at least they are heading this way. Any news on Trevor's 5th axis?
