The last time I was in Costco (early August) they had those huge ginormous rolling tool boxes back in stock. Absolutely huge and very heavy. Looked like decent quality. I can't remember exactly what the price was but I think it was $999.99 which seems an excellent deal. Somebody please correct me on that if I'm wrong on the price.

Not sure what it will cost to rent the crane and 5 ton flatbed you'll need to get the thing home and into your garage/shop but that cost should be added in when figuring out if you can afford one of those puppies.

Were you going to say something like this, Dale:

It is a heck of a deal. If you want one, jump on it because they never last long. Every time they get a shipment they're gone in a couple of days, and it takes another couple weeks to get another. I bought one and as soon as my father saw it, he had to have one too and tried for three months before he got lucky.

They have a very similar box at Peavy Mart (yup, I love that place...where else can you by a Hobart welder, bedding plants and a syringe for your horse meds) - for around the same price...always in stock.

I've looked hard as Matt's box causes all sorts of envy

I noticed also that the one in the link on that other thread is up to $1200 for just the bottom box, while Costco is still selling BOTH boxes for $1000. Damn... a guy should buy a few and give them as xmas gifts!

Perhaps understandably, it's a mighty short list.

I just got back from there, and I saw that box. That thing is intense. It looks even bigger than those Costco boxes.

We were just at the NW Costco off of Sarcee Tr. and they have them in stock right now and the price is $999.99. They're friggin' huge. I hear you have to recycle 2 Hummers to make one of them...

Anybody getting one ?
