Ok I have to come now. 8:00 at Ikea....
Can't wait to get out and meet some of the Calgary people. Now I just have to put back the few things on the car that I had to take off for my inspection.

As for food I might have to bring my own tofu...lol

I'd be down with that. Is there a more interesting route than highway 2? We could take 22, but that tacks on at least another 45 minutes...

24 through Vulcan is actually a nice drive. Not quite as boring as 2 and is a little shorter too. Deerfoot to 22x and east to 24...

People are coming here now?! Sweet! Whoa, I feel out of the loop!

Right on!
People are certainly welcome to hang out here, but the BBQ at Coburn Performance sounds good. My garage is certainly open for hanging out at any point. I'd better check with Laura to make sure our schedule is clear.

Dale, PM coming your way.

On another note: anyone up there got a spare rear right brake hard line going from the junction block to the right rear caliper? I'm about to order one from FCP, but figured I'd check to see if someone might by chance have one and wouldn't mind bringing it down.

I think the messages about the cruise have been very clearly communicated. Trying to coordinate a group of very busy people and find a date that allows the majority to attend is difficult at best, also taking into account the weather this time of year, so ultimately the conformation has to wait until the last minute (unless you know a better weather forecaster than I do).

Sorry for the venting Paul, and we do appreciate the BarBQ's you have organized (you have also experienced the small response), but every other event, including some MAJOR multi-day cruises and social functions have been organized by a very small group of members. We get the long lists of people who say they are coming, they have months to schedule, plan and save their money, but the consistent result is that the majority pull out at the last minute. A good example of this is the 2007 PacNW which initially saw over 40 eager to attend from Alberta, BC, Washington, Oregon, … I think the final number of participants was about 15.
Paul check your PM

Don't think Ikea is open that early. Best stop by Timmy on the way...

Ikea doesn't open until at least 10:00 on Sundays.

Yeah, Paul... you don't check the forum 6 times a day like the rest of us, and read every thread front to back each time? What's wrong with you?

OK, We've got the pig slaughtered and the potatoes dug out of the garden...if I can only find the chickens (it's windy down here) then we'll have us a nice brunch at my place. The address is: 1252 8A Ave S. Lethbridge. Follow Dale, or the smell of bacon - you'll find the right place. If in doubt just start knocking on doors. The mormons are all in church - the rest of us are in the garage. Tours of the garage are limited due to space and fire regulations at Coburn Performance.

From my place we are going to go on a long hike to Greg's (the home of Tofu and all things pure - 3 blocks away) to stare in awe at the brace of 240's he's go stashed in the garage. Drool bibs will be provided and please don't ask him to polish your cars.

I need a 2 way??
I should be driving down late tonight or really early tomorrow. I still have a few things to the car that need to get down. She is shaking like crazy when I first start it in the morning but should be good on the highway.

No but really do I need a 2 way???
