Saturday morning...my place.


Matt and I went through a good portion of the stuff I have in my garage and found a few hundred pounds of stuff I really don't need. It's mostly 240 stuff (a lot pulled from my 245 before sending it to the crusher) and nothing really major but there is a ton of it. Whatever isn't claimed is going to the dump.

Be here by 10 if you want a crack at it. In case anyone asks...there are no wheels and I'm not getting rid of the 28/25 sway bar set. There are tires, trim, mirrors, k-jet stuff, headlights, signal lights (lenses and reflectors), tail lights (late 140/early 240), a couple of 2-door doors from a '75, glass, GT foglights and brackets and a ton of other stuff. Like I said, there is a few hundred pounds of stuff and I don't own a 240 series car and haven't for quite a while...

Sounds like heaven to me... Wish I could go.

Any nice 'accessories'?

any 7XX series stuff?

Two, maybe three mint NOS rear window louver sets. That's about it.

It's all sitting in the driveway and will be gone by noon Saturday if no one claims it. Can you drop by Friday evening?

Why would I have any 7 series stuff? Mind you, I do have a decor panel that will be going on eBay shortly. I've also got some Bosch H4/H1 headlights that would fit your car. They're far from perfect but still functional...

P.S. Do you still have those black 740 floor trays? You were going to try and get them down here but we never talked about it since?

Also are the 140 early 240 tails like the ones before the 5 panel, ie: for a 78? I should see if "somebody" wants to go Xmas shopping in Calgary.

The taillights are for the 140, I believe, but would pass on an early 240 (pre-79). They are different, 140-240, but I forget the difference.

Ok so now I see how stupid my "10 pm" comment sounded. I do realize now that I'm probably the only one here that stays up till 1:30 or 2 in the morning on a regular basis.

We have something up already for Saturday that I was "reminded" of so no go for the garage sale.

Matt, that would be great if we can swing something to get the mats down here. I will be up in Calgary sometime in the near future, just waiting on a referral to find out when so I could grab stuff in the near term if need be. I'll take the tails and the GT lights if you're taking early requests if that's OK.

I don't have black 740 floor trays...I don't think. There are some 240 trays there...

I think I paid something like $50 for the décor panel. The H4/H1 combos are functional but not perfect by any stretch. Have a look at them and make me an offer...

I doubt anyone else is interested in the tails. The GT fogs are pretty much for the brackets and cases. The lenses are busticated. You can buy new lenses though. I'll put them with the 740 floor trays, should they magically appear...
