Hey, folks.

I need the following:

1) Fog light
2) splash tray (y'know - the anti-schmoo plastic tray that lives under the engine)
3) The pre-heat hose (silver, aluminum, corrugated, runs for the exhaust manifold to the airbox.

All to fit an '87 740T.

IPd has these things, but once one factors in shipping, it gets expensive. And you wouldn't believe what the stealership wants...

Thanks,

Dan

What part of the fog light do you need? I think I've got a complete one, including a Volvo cover...

Hey, Dale.

The lens is gone in mine, but now that the bulb has been out in the world for several months, I reckon I'd take the whole shebang.

Didn't know Volvo made covers for these. Sounds cool! Do you know if the Bosch 550 covers will fit?

Not sure how these compare to the 550 but it's possible the covers fit. Let me dig it out of my stash and have a look at it. I think I've got the complete unit minus the mounting bracket.

I posted in your tbrix ad, pretty sure I have a splash pan. I think I have some light bits but it sounds like Dale has you covered for that. I'll post back after I dig through my pile.

OK, folks. Sourced the fog light bits and splash tray locally (via Four Star Motors).

Solyeahman, PM sent re: corrugated hose thingamabob.

Thanks to all,

Dan

Many of us take that pre-heat hose off and discard it... especially on a turbo, it doesn't do much that's useful

Sounds good, shipping on a tray wouldn't have made much sense and I noticed a crack in one of our cars so I should probably hang on to this anyway. If you really want a pre-heat hose PnP in the Chuck shows a 740 on the yard right now, probably $5??
