Very strange - I know I replied from my phone this morning, but not only is it not showing up here, the Admin log reassures me that nobody deleted it.
The Salt Flats are my pick, but they're also what I'm hoping to run on my car (if I can afford them when the time comes) so I'm going to keep my mouth shut. I also like the Gasser wheels but feel that they'd still only look good on the front of an old school hot rod.
Dale's right about the VOX car - it looks fantastic no matter what wheels they pick, even though I don't like either of them on the car. The first set would look better on anything not quite so classic looking, the second set I'm not sure about at all. They're only mildly exciting because of the dish in the rear. I wonder if when you're done, you'll have the same benefit - the car will look amazing with whatever wheels it's wearing.
The Pegs do about as much for me as those '80s wheels or the holed centerlines: nothing at all. The Panasports... yeah, fine, but on something that stays vintage looking, unless you're going for a Trans-Am-style look and include massive width & deep offsets, no center caps, double-ended lug nuts and long studs, etc.
The grey "torq-thrusts" are Mustang wheels, as I'm sure you know, and I actually prefer the V6 version:

How about something a bit less common, like Kodiak or Forgeline?
