No, I think it was another issue I noticed as I was putting the engine together - the crank was a bit bent, from what I don't know, and I tried straightening it but I might have messed something else up worse by doing it. I think it might have been bent and not fixed by the machine shop, 'cause I've always had main and thrust bearing troubles.

This spare engine is BEAUTIFUL. I've got it all apart and it's frickin' gorgeous.

Should be on the road again in a week or so. No worries! 8)

Everything but the block, crank, rods/pistons/rings, and oil pump will be coming from the other engine.

oh hell yes...just hoping before the lethbridge show...so mid july, then there is no "rushing" before the BC trip...you know? i wish all of our vehicles to need a couple fluid checks before BC and thats it
