Hey crew

The clutch has been slipping, which seems fair given the turbo 16v. I've got it apart to upgrade, but while I'm in there I did want to check that the step height is correct (this is a 9" dog dish flywheel). I had it resurfaced when I had it out last, and who knows if they did it correctly.
I've searched every greenbook I can find, and it seems they even cover how to rivet new friction material to the clutch, but nothing on the flywheel specs for resurfacing. Does anyone know the measurement, where to find it, or perhaps a stock 9" flywheel that hasn't been resurfaced that they can measure?

Thanks!

Step #1 - Ditch the dog dish.
Step #2 - Live a happy life.

Sorry - I couldn't resist

If you ask around, I'm sure you'd find the parts.

I looked through a pile of green books I have to see if I could find the step dimension for you, nothing. I didn't have a book specifically for the clutch after '85, though, but the "general specifications" books said nothing.

Thanks for having a look! I've paged through everything I can find, and haven't come up with anything. Will update if I do.

Interesting, just found this http://forums.turbobricks.com/showthread.php?t=292186

They're saying 25mm in that thread (no solid source for the info however). The step on mine measures 24.6mm. I suppose unlikely that is the cause of it slipping.
