I find getting the main bolt on "needed" stuff is fairly inexpensive for V8's. But when you want to go to the next level after that is when it gets expensive.

I say this because my 66 Chevelle is to a certain stage, and looking at go fast goodies for the next stage makes me toss. So I'll drive it as-is right now and spend some more on the vo-vo's
