Is that an original color from Volvo? It looks like a repaint to me, but it's not the first time that I see a very dark grey like that. I couldn't find any information that Volvo did something like that. So it is a repaint, an original color or just a former black car that just faded to dark gray?




I can't believe it. I lived in a city barely smaller than Calgary (Quebec City) and I could count the number of 745 with my two hands and there was none like mine. I move to a small town in Alberta, and my new neighbor have a grey 1991 745 turbo... I loved to be unique!

Do you know these colours, Vik, or were you just picking them off the list? The reason I ask is 'cause I'm looking for a colour and I'd love to know the code. It was a 1 year only green in the mid-late '70s for the 240 line. Light green, a bit on the blue-grey side but not much. I believe it would be '76-'78, 'cause the car that had it was fuel injected but had the early taillights. I didn't know enough about Volvos then to notice the year specifically, as this was about 18 years ago that I last saw it.
