Some tips for retirement planning from an expert in the industry:

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock three years ago, it would now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1000.00.

WorldCom, you would have less than $5.00 left.

But if over the last three years you had purchased $1000.00 worth of beer, drank all the beer, then returned the cans or bottles for your refund you would have $614.00.

So based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

I am currently calculating the dividends on wine consumption

So... I REALLY want to know which bottle depot you use, that refunds 61.4% of the full purchase price for beer cans. Then I'm quitting my day job (oh shit, forgot, don't have one) and hitting the ditches.

Read between the lines ... it says I bought $1000 of beer  I don't drink alone so if every one of your friends buys $1000 worth and then you take ALL the cans and bottles back .... JK

OK, so I thought it was appropriate, guess not with you analytical types :(
