OK, my plan was to fix the poor paint job that I did on the cowl induction, so I did the whole trick; wet sanded, tack cloth, tried the Tremclad that everyone had read so much about. OK I have to admit it was looking not bad, so I was in the process of a 600 grit wet sand before the second coat and the paint started coming off SHIT

Anyway, I have now completely stripped the cowl back to the bare fiberglass, I contacted Jason at Mr. Touchup but he is far too busy to repaint it before the end of the month. I want this done right, not a hack or amateur job. Does anyone know a decent painter who would like to spray the cowl???

he will do anything you want, its a licensed shop. A few friends of mine got stuff done there and it was top quality and the prices are very reasonable. Just give him a call or drive down and he will give you a quick estimate.
