OK, my plan was to fix the poor paint job that I did on the cowl induction, so I did the whole trick; wet sanded, tack cloth, tried the Tremclad that everyone had read so much about. OK I have to admit it was looking not bad, so I was in the process of a 600 grit wet sand before the second coat and  the paint started coming off SHIT

Anyway, I have now completely stripped the cowl back to the bare fiberglass, I contacted Jason at Mr. Touchup but he is far too busy to repaint it before the end of the month. I want this done right, not a hack or amateur job. Does anyone know a decent painter who would like to spray the cowl???

he will do anything you want, its a licensed shop. A few friends of mine got stuff done there and it was top quality and the prices are very reasonable. Just give him a call or drive down and he will give you a quick estimate.

Dropped everything off today for painting.
Spoke to Dan, seems like a great guy. Actually had the time to talk and had interest in what the parts were for. Price also seemed very fair.

Thanks for the recommendation, should be able to pick them up soon and I will give you my final impressions ... along with pictures 8)
