Hey Everyone,
I just came across this eBay auction. It's on a big lot of various sized (NIB) Polk Audio car speakers. The auction ends real soon (Jun-27-07 22:40:11 PDT) so we need to make our minds up and act FAST. First come first served.

I only want some of those speakers so I'm wondering if any of you want to get any of the ones I don't want. If we split the costs up fairly it should work out to be a pretty good deal for everyone.
What I want out of the lot are as follows:
1 pr DB525
1 pr DB650
1 pr DB690
That leaves:
2 prs of DB460 (4" x 6" coaxials)
1 pr of DB570 (5" x 7" coaxials)
1 pr of DB690 (6" x 9" 3-ways)
2 GNX104 10" Subs
2 12" subs (model not specified) in boxes
If we're the only bidders we could get the whole package for as low as $500 USD plus shipping. I'm just checking with the seller to see if he'll ship to Canada and trying to get an idea of what the shipping costs would be.
The total MSRP of all these speakers is probably well over $1500 so everyone who gets in on the purchase would be getting a great deal on some pretty decent speakers. I figure we'd calculate what everybody owes by dividing the MSRP of the speakers they take by the total MSRP and multiplying that by the cost of the package plus shipping. So if the speakers I want are worth $500 MSRP and the total package MSRP is $1500 then I would pay 1/3 of the cost of the package plus shipping. If that turns out to be only $660 then my share would be $220.
Make up your mind and stake your claim ASAP. And please, don't lay a claim on part of the package unless you fully intend to pay for them once they arrive.
Thanks,
Roger
