I'm about to order parts for my suspension/brakes. (Yes, I'm really doing it after years of waiting!
)
I'll need 4 springs, 4 shocks, swaybars, full bushings (both front and rear are dry and cracked) but just normal bushing (after talking to few people, it's not worth to get full polyuretane for my car), brake lines (front and rear), brake master cylinder and front brake disk.
Last time I ordered from FCgroton, price were good, but delivery cost and border fees where just plain crazy, (added almost 50% of the price). Anyone knows a way to avoid such ridiculously high cost?
4 shocks: Bilstein HD
4 spring: could be IPD spring, but still not sure about that
Antisway bars: IPD I guess...
Bushings: there's probably 30 differents kind of bushing, how do I know which one I need. Didn't see a "whole kit" anywhere.
Front brake disk: I want to be able to use my winter steelies, so I won't get bigger ones. Any brand will do or some will give some improvment? Is it worth to get crossdrilled disk?
Brake lines: steel hoses are about twice the price of the normal one, but overall, that would be about 40-50 bucks more. Is it worth it?
Brake Master Cylinder: any brand will do? (there 2 or 3 different ones on groton or IPD)
Any comments on the parts or ideas where would be the best place to get that Or any trick to avoid part of the shipping/toll fees? (I know, I'm greedy, but I'm sure I have better way to spend 500$ that shipping fees and taxes)
Or if anyone already have some decent stuff that they don't use.
I already have some other stuff on its way from Europe.
