So, yeah. I had no luck at the junk yard today....there were 3 volvos that i saw...that's it. and yes, all of the 200 type variety.

So, I ask you all this. If any of you are hitting up the scrap heap, and see either of these two gems, pick it up! I think 850 stuff would work...should work...if i'm wrong then someone correct me....but. anyways. THE LIST!

1. winshield washer fluid resevoir. Don't need the motor. Just the resevoir. (more rage towards carling motors, apparantly after the accident they fixed the motor...they were supposed to replace the resevoir as well while they were in there and oops, didnt. So dad was supposed to take the car back but "never had time" in the...two years since the accident? three? that we had the car in ottawa....wtf.)

2. you know how when you open the door there's a little light actually on the door...kinda halfway down the doorframe....yeah. If you see the lens for that light...GRAB IT FOR ME! (passanger front) it's kinda on the inside of the door so when the door is closed you don't see it, but...it got mangled on my car. so a new one would be pretty. lol.

or just give me a shout if you see a car that has these parts at any junkheap and I will hit it up meself. Many beers going to anyone who finds these though, I know I'm lookin for a golden needle in a haystack...but I figure if any of you are oot there for whatever reason and you see an 850 or 70-series...lemmie know!

Well Kat, the chances of finding an 850 or newer at PNP is ... um ... slim to none, sorry

I would give some of the local auto wreckers a call, but check their prices

Another option is EBay:

yeah i saw that one...

sadly, it claims to only ship to the us. and while i have a friend in the us i could get shit shipped to...i have no desire to pay twice for shipping so that i can send it to him in jersey and then have him send it to me out here.

*edit* or are most of these guys decent that if you email them and ask if they would ship to canada, would they?

Many of them are too lazy to fill out the eBay forms correctly, and they'll ship to Canada just fine. Some of them flat out refuse, though, for some reason or another. Most of the reasons I've heard are pretty insulting, actually.

But all you can do is ask, and make it easy for them by asking them to ship it through the post office.

no but i mean how do you specify that it goes to the post office instead of them being tools trying to deliver and leaving it in the front foyer where any bugger off the street can take it?

(yes, I have had them do this to me before)

If it's coming from the 'states, meaning you've got to pay the $5 paperwork fee and the GST, they will not leave it on your front porch.
