Especially considering my work, I really shouldn't be saying this (I should go work for the Crown eh?) but I honestly don't think that your past should be that much a mitigating circumstance for acts you perform AGAINST A CHILD or against ANYONE. You were abused as a child? Cry me a river, there's lots of opportunities for concelling and assistance. OR DONT BE AROUND KIDS IF YOU CANT TREAT THEM RIGHT.

I'm sorry if I think in cases like this, the abusers should be punished to the full extent of the law. Yes, I have morals.
