 Post subject: Tie Rod Ends & Ball Joints

I need to replace my tie rod ends and ball joints on my 85 244 DL, is this hard to do, is there much involved it doing it, how much time is involved it doing this? Thanks in advance.

Like anything, it's not hard work if you've got the tools (a vice, a pickle fork, and a big hammer mainly) but if you don't and if you've never done it before (sounds like you haven't) it's difficult to estimate the time required. It would probably take me 2-3 hours to do them, start to finish, assuming nothing is really badly seized. It could take some folks on here a weekend or longer.

Get an alignment done afterwards.
