I did email the guy... this is all he really said:

"it is a 123gt and the rust is in the rocker panels....i accidentally put the wrong milage in...was off my bad notes"

So if the rockers a rusty I would imagine other parts are too.

I probably won't be bidding, I'm not so concerned about having something special or rare. I'd rather have a clean 122 that's far from original anyway. If I could get it for $1000 I might think about it, but I'm doubtful it'll go for that.
