Was just down there yesterday. I've never seen such a dearth of Volvos in that yard. Only one 245 and one 745 and both pretty picked over. Fortunately both had manual trannys so I was able to get what parts I needed off them. Pretty slim pickin's for Volvo guys though. Hope they get some more bricks in there soon...

The hatch was closed so I didn't notice if the hatch struts were there or not. Also not sure if the heater motor was there or not. The dash was there but it had been torn into a bit. Some stuff was gone from it like all the relays. If I'd known you were after those things I would've checked to see if any of that stuff was there for you. Sorry I couldn't be more help...

I was just there on sunday and there were 2 740 wagons one turbo one not. neither of the hatches would stay open on their own the lifters were worn out. there was a white 740 it was very picked over there was alot of interior items left not much under the hood. the other one was grey it is turbo charged/intercooled and there was alot left on this one altough this one wouldnt be any good for body parts as it was an accident both of the wagons were about 1986. there were also 2 240's both sedans one blue one purple. the purple one was a 1989 and it was pretty parted out there was alot left on the blue one which by my guesses is an early 80's (81 or 82). anyways I hope this helps you guys who are in search of parts. and I also noticed that there was a 740 waiting to go out to the lot. Im heading back there on thursday (Feb 21 2008) so if someone needs something please let me know and I'll try to get it for you I wont be there for long so I wont be going after anything to complicated. if you need anything please PM me and I'll try to get back

Marco my friend would like two volvo wheels with tires, and I would like hatchstruts (if there), an electric fan if you see one (maybe a nice taurus one?) - :D

My cell is 973-3825, maybe call me while you're out there? :) That would be pretty sweet :D

Were you the guy replacing the headlight trim on your 740 in the parking lot? Matt and I were there for a quick runaround...

Figure I'll post this here, though its in Lethbridge, just in case anyone is interested...

There's a 1984 242 Turbo parked at our PYP right now. The guy wants $500 for it. I wouldn't be surprised if he went down to $400. Miraculously, both Craig and I walked away from the car without purchasing it!

It started right away. Apparently the owner got rid of it because of a "gas smell." We checked, and yep, its leaking gas from somewhere near the main pump. No big deal to fix I don't think. Its dark gray, M46, blue velour interior. New rubber with really nice Virgos, about 300,000kms if I remember correct, and has A/C. Rust in the usual spots, and peeling clear coat, dented hood, missing some trim, but otherwise looks nice.

If anyone is really interested, I'd be willing to take some photos.

That should be the M410 and it only fits the B30 AFAIK.

Unless you manage to find a bellhousing from an 1800. Some years had the M410 bolted to a B20...

i was looking at that tranny last weekend and was thinking I'd pull it for my 1800 or 122 but first I polled both the Brickboard and the Yahoo 1800 Group and got the same answer both times. Not only is the bellhousing different on that tranny, the input shaft spline size is different too. Craig is right, that tranny will only fit a B30. :(

There were some M410s put into some 1970 1800Es but those are apparently extremely rare and hard to come by.

if its the green 164 the motor is seized...came to the shop for a no start and we told him why. Everything in the car is pretty ghetto-rigged though.
