That would be Sam's car. Deathwagon on Tbrix. Runs 12s, I seem to recall.

Whoops, he says 11s.

I thought I just saw that for sale on TB the other day. Yeah, 11.98, but with the NOZ.

The polite answer is: Buying an out-of-province car is a gamble, because you may have to do extensive work to it in order to get it registered.

I've seen what is allowed down the Montgomery drag strip, and it's not pretty. The guys who built this car (regulars on Turbobricks) care only about speed and bragging rights, so it's a good bet that much of the car has been chopped apart and hacked together to make it faster. It won't be easy or cheap to get registered in Alberta, I promise.

The only way to go with this car is to buy it and transfer everything over to an Alberta car, and scrap the Alabama junkpile. The car can be replicated for much less than what he's asking, I think. That is, if you even wanted to.

Okay, good luck with that one. It's one thing to let a cracked washer fluid bottle go, but another to turn a blind eye to a sawzalled front bumper support so a huge intercooler could be zip-tied in place.
