Well...it's probably time to start thinking about next summer's meet. I'm all for doing the same thing as we did last summer unless someone's got a better idea. I know I can drag a few more guys from the Calgary area out and hopefully we can encourage more guys from Washington and Oregon to attend. I think you all saw the pictures from last year and everyone who was there will agree that it was a fantastic time with some spectacular scenery and even more spectacular roads to test our driving skills on. If we start booking things, we can get some accomodations set up rather than invade someone's back yard like we did last year. I'm sure there are group campgrounds in the Kamloops area we can book if we get on it.
How does the weekend of August 4,5,6 &7 look for everyone?

I was looking at this as a possible place to stay Saturday night after the cruise...
http://www.hellobc.com/en-CA/Accommodat ... arby=FalseI've never been down there but it looks like a beautiful location from the highway. $17 a night. Perhaps one of the "locals" can call them to see if we can reserve sites? It would be very cool to reserve the whole campsite so we're not bothering anyone but I don't think that's feasible. I kind of doubt we could reserve 10 sites for just one night either but it doesn't hurt to try.
If that doesn't work out, I think we need to try and find somewhere for a bunch of people to pitch tents and stuff. I'm thinking one of those community centres along the way might be available? If we book a rural community centre we'd have access to kitchen facilities and washroom facilities as well as a spot to hang out if the weather is a bit inclement... Again, the locals will have a better idea about what's out there...
Let's get rolling on this part so we're not sitting there at the end of the cruise, planning our next move...
more to come later
