I fixed my picture for you, but two things come to mind: If someone can fire you because you accidentally see something online, that person is a douchebag, and you should just shoot that person in the face right now and get it over with... Also, what is the internet policy at your place of business? Are alient centaur bukkake pictures clearly outlined as being innapropriate? It may be graphic, but it is exactly only that, its drawn - not real.

people get in trouble for sexist cartoons from a newspaper posted in the workplace...why cause they are "posted" and the person is therefore subjected to something they would otherwise not see/nor want to see...but are forced to

(dont say "just look away"...this case has happened many times)

There are 2 issues here, first is like Vik said, inappropriate pictures, gestures, articles are all grounds for sexual harassment complaints and investigations in the workplace.

Secondly just the fact that we are using company equipment and time for “surfing” are many times grounds for termination. The less attention that is drawn to this activity the better (for us)

Ian answered very appropriately. Many corporations make you sign an agreement that the company computer equipment is not to be used for personal surfing or personal email. Failure to comply is grounds for dismissal. No discussion...

You really need to get out into the corporate world a little more or at least learn a bit about it. I can guarantee you, without a doubt in my mind; if our owner had walked by when that picture popped up, I would no longer have web access from my computer.

If you want to create a forum where you can post that stuff, have at it. At least I know not to browse it when I'm at work. PLease keep the rest professional and respectable...

I already edited the photo, edited my post that tyler was up in arms about - and as suggest witih things that a possibly NSFW, they will be labeled as such with a LINK to the image, not the image straight in the thread.

Also, if you're not supposed to be on the internet while you're at work, you can hardly blame me for getting you in trouble in the first place You'd never get in trouble looking at alien centaur porn if you weren't violating your company's internet policy in the first place
