Two weeks from now.

Next weekend I'm flying to Vancouver (the 18th) and picking up an 80 242GT. Then I have 5 days of training at Volvo's training center in Richmond.

Friday the 25th I'm going up to Kamloops to visit my dad and grab some parts. Then 26th in Calgary, 27th a 12 hour bomb to Winnipeg with Cassies brother caravaning with me in his Prelude.

I was hoping to get to Calgary around dinner time. Anyone up for a visit?

The GT definatly has some steep gearing in there (3K at 100km/h in OD)

So I think I'll be stopping in Calgary for 2-4 hours relax and eat, then keep driving for a bit, otherwise I won't make it all the way home on Sunday.

You're gonna have to come up with something a little more definite in terms of time. Some of us have tight schedules to work around. I'll be in Lethbridge for part of the weekend but will be home later Saturday...

Sorry guys, I ended up driving straight through. I stopped for dinner with Derek at Chilli's, then drove to Medicine Hat, but there were so many dead deer on the road after dark that I thought I better stop for the night. Seriously every 100 feet for a few kilometers was another deer.

242 made it back A-Ok. In the garage now, gonna strip it down, and do a 50 dollar paint job on it. Then get it back together asap
