Hey Everyone,

Some of you may recall that Laureen (RedSeven) and I bought a 740 Ti from Geoff a while ago and I had to change out the exhaust to get it through the OOP inspection. The guy who took the previous system out cut it into 3 pieces. It was a straight through 2.5" system with only a Magnaflow muffler on it and a split chrome ended tailpipe.

I'd like to put that system back in again as the stock system that I had to put in to pass the OOP is too restrictive and doesn't have the nice growl the previous system had.

The thing is I need some help from someone who can weld the old system back together again. Will probably have to redo or at least touch up some of Geoff's welds as well to make a decent job of it.

Can anyone help me out on this ? We can do the work in my garage if you have a portable welder or I can bring the car to you if that works better for you. It shouldn't take more than an hour or two I would think.

Thanks in advance,

Roger

Exactly, I am trying to get my car on the road, at the same time maintain our house, look after both Joan's and my aging parents. I do not have enough hours in a day to get everything I have to get done, let along doing something for someone else.

You may have to bite the bullet Roj and pay someone to weld it up.

Any muffler shop will usually do these things for around 60 to 80 dollars...

sorry I've been so busy with work, i haven't been able to drop by and help out.

Plus i'm a terrible welder.

We can't afford that right now and probably not for a while. Had some financial setbacks.

Could maybe offer a real good used AW71 as payment for service.

i'll have a moment to breathe some time next week after the 24th of June. If you still need that stuff welded up, I'll give it a go.
