A somewhat decent used Tig preferably. i figure it's about time to ditch the fluxcore after getting the ultimate basics down and being frustrated. So now i'm hoping to get a decent middle of the road 220v machine and see what i can do // actually learn well.... price... depends on how much OT i can rake in.

You ain't gonna find a TIG on here... I can pretty much guarantee it. Those of us in the CVC who have welders have MIG or flux core and we're not even interested in getting rid of those. I'm pretty sure that the only one of us who even has access to a TIG is Craig, and it belongs to the school he teaches at.

Apologies, I didn't know Andy had one.

Edit - is it one of those 110v jobbies that Princess Auto sells, or something else?

Grrr... won't do aluminium. Does it have foot control or do you just set-it-and-forget-it?

What do you need argon for...doing some stainless (in which case you should have some CO2 for good measure.

Haven't used the plasma cutter ye, my compressor at home doesn't cut it too great. I was thinking of bringing it to work to try it out.
