What he said. Sometimes the price has nothing to do with it. Unless one actually needs a car, you could have a hard time selling it at any price. I, for one, don't need a 7th vehicle in my fleet. I doubt Craig needs a 5th in his. Ian doesn't need a 5th. Greg doesn't need a 4th. Matt doesn't need a 5th. See what I'm getting at?

You're selling to a pretty limited market here too. Craigslist, Kijij and Bargainfinder...that's the way to go...

sorry Roj, do I want it, yes....should I buy it....no

I have fixed the links to the close-up photos of the rust areas on the posting on page 1. Here are some more pictures of the outside and inside of the car:

My car still hasn't sold off of Craigslist and kijiji.com

I need to have it gone so I'm going to offer it to people from the club for $650 with the Cibie H4 E-codes. That's a very good deal considering all the extras on the car (i.e. the Tru-trac).

Please someone come and buy it...

It's finally been bought and paid for ! :supz: Raz's friend Colin and his Dad came by today and took it away. =D> Best of luck to them in the future with that car. I hope the deal works out ok for them. I'm sure it will as they could get back all or at least most of their money parting it out if it came to that. I think they got a reasonable deal considering the value of some of the parts on that car that could be sold plus the extra stuff I threw in with it (i.e. a spare pair of Cibie 240 H4 E-codes). It's going to take some work to get it through the safety inspection though, like probably a new windshield.

This is the first time since 1981 that I haven't owned at least one 240. Oh well, I've still got a 940T, 740 Ti, 122S and an 1800S. That's nearly enough Volvos. Haven't got room for another since I now also have a 4Runner for work.
