I gotta say they are probably the quickest shipper ever.

I ordered a set of Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec's on Monday evening.

They showed up at work THURSDAY MORNING at 750am.

AND they used UPS. But guess what. Duty cost me 20 dollars? On an order of 655USD (or somewhere there about).

These tires look super sticky. Huge tread blocks. [-o<

Hooray for whole sale accounts!

I dont even have a corperate account and I got my tires from them very quick. Like a 20 dollar duty on a 500 dollar order as well.

Im thinking I will only buy tires from them... I love you Tire Rack =D>

As I recall it was about 80 bucks or so. I can find the receipt if its a big deal. I think after everything my order was about $400 Cad, @ $61us a tire...

My receipt is at work. I'll take a look on Monday.

I wanna say it was around 80USD for all of them.

My total bill was 650USD shipped, duty, tax. I don't get a huge discount on the tires. They were 116 each.

I still have my wholesale account if you want a quote, sometimes they're pretty competitive, selection can be limited though.

Also, tiretrends.com is usually very competitive too, and is out of vancouver.

Can you please get me a quote on a set of 4 Firestone Destination A/T in 265/70/16 ? I should probably put some new rubber on my 4Runner. TireRack retails 'em for $125/ea. Tiretrends doesn't seem to carry them at all.

Thanks - Roj

For those of you in Calgary or nearby who may be looking for tires. Make sure to get a quote from Country Tires here in Calgary. 403-590-1521. When calling around I've found that they consistently offer the best deal. Their prices are just about the lowest, if not THE lowest I get quoted from anywhere in town and they include lifetime balance and a 5 yr Road Hazard warranty in their price which nobody else does. They also work on an appointment basis so they say if you come in at your appointment time they'll get your tires done right away while you wait. I haven't bought tires from them yet so I can't say for sure if they're always able to live up to that claim or not.

Has anybody bought tires from them before ? How was your experience with them ?
