Hi Raz,

Good god...

Will come see you later in the week. In BC until then.

Thanks again for your technical and creative help on the Foothills Brass DVD and website last week, very very much appreciated.

Dropped in on Raz tonight, he was pretty drugged up, but looking good considering.

Seems like he was with a buddy driving in the Blackie area to repair a computer (friend was driving) they were hit head on by a 3/4 ton van. Raz cannot remember much about the collision.

He has a collapsed lung, both bones in his right leg below the knee are broken, looks like tendon in one finger may be severed, lots of cuts and bruises, a good cut on the forehead and is currently in a neck brace.

He does not know how long he will be in the hospital, but today all the tubes were removed except his oxygen. He does not want anything other than to get out and go home.

He is in ward 71, to get in you have to buzz the intercom at the door and let them know you are visiting Rasmus Rystrom and they will buzz you in. Don't forget to let them know at the desk that you are leaving so they can buzz you out.

Holly crap. I heard about all the accidents on Saturday from a buddy at hockey tonight. That's some serious bad luck - get better soon Raz, if we weren't all the way down in the 'bridge we'd be over for a visit for sure.
