Yes, I'm at Lethbridge College as a graphic designer and photographer. But as I work in the Advancement office, I don't often get down to the trades area of the college. Today I was photographing something in the area and made the discovery. There's also a tranny and engine dyno in the same area. Very cool.

No dice Craig...I found the paint booth, and its been converted into storage sadly. All the lifts in the foreground there are nice though. I also found some MASSIVE turbos on display. The welding area looks like an internment camp, but there's all sorts of cool fabrication equipment which I figured you'd know how to use.

I really don't know how much use the dyno is getting, but the guy I was with from maintenance made the suggestion I should try to volunteer my car as a test subject. Calibration indeed! I may be doing some design work for the mechanics department shortly, so who knows....

Oh my, they are using a perfectly good paint booth for storage...could we unpack it and pack it back up for them (just kidding - there is no way they would go for that). Internment camps - a Lethbridge tradition.

I believe Dale pointed out a perfectly good storage solution in another thread.

If the college wants to start teaching Megasquirt as part of the curriculum, I MIGHT know someone who would be able to help out in that area... I, er I mean HE should even be able to bring his car down as a test subject and discussion point.

That would be pretty cool if you could do that actually. I wonder what all they would instruct on for engine management? Would it be "if this box isn't working, replace it," or would they actually go into how it all works? Having someone teaching MS would be a great way to learn how everything happens.
