Will buy a set or just a couple. Have almost a complete set from PYP. These are fairly easy to remove, IIRC, I thought they wouldn't be. Protect the starter thread, pls!

It's been several years since I grabbed my incomplete set. There was some trick, but what you say is correct. I forget how you take them out backwards without the backing plate interfering. I may have taken the calipers off....?

ARP makes a stud for Chryslers and Fords with drum brakes that has the right shank size (the spline area is the right depth and diameter). The spline is different (more coarse) and the studs are longer. I used them on my 122 and lots of people have used them on 240 series cars. You just knock them in, weld them to the hub to be sure and you're good to go. Simple.

*Nod*

But, won't locate the 164e rotor hats as nicely, and to get the length I need to fit within the wheel nuts, I'd have to cut each and every one. Hmm, cut 10 (or 20) ARP studs and make the starting threads nice as new (a major PITA)... or get one or two more of the right studs... ;)
Uh, hence the ad... ;)
