That sounds like my old 945- is it an american car? It only had a split in the drivers seat bottom when I sold it...I think they were yokohama tires, if they're the same, that was 5 years ago so i doubt the same tires.

Duh, that's not my old one, it's a '93, only had ~110,000mi on it (5 years ago), and was a wagon.
Still, same colour scheme and I put some fancy 15" tsw's on it.

Dammit, now that I'm thinking about it, I might be better off to put those 15's on darth and sell my 17s and spacers...for sure don't send that car to the crushers with those wheels on. I'll have a look at those too.

damn, that must be it. it was a '93 though...got GREAT mileage, I could do 500miles on a tank on the highway. I think it had the lock-up tranny. Darth struggles to get 450 without lock-up.

we'll see about the tires, i realized the 205/50s are alot shorter than I'd like, they'd work/look alot better on a 240. I think I had put 205/60's on, so if those are the same tires they are about at the end of their life!

the tires have some decent tread on them actually. they arent cracked at all. PO said he got them last summer and tried to drive thru the winter with the summer tires :facepalm:

he ended up rear ending somebody hard enough for the airbag to deploy.

50s should be fine, im running 55/s, and with the NA rear end 180kmh is not out of the question.

if you really hate them just put new tires on. I like the lower gearing for quick acceleration anyways
