he said he cant get em. I dont think that will solve your waste gate rubbing problem, look at 2fast242gts soloution on TB, I think I will follow his Idea w/ diesel mounts.

No worries. I'm in no rush. I just got thinking about it with a rear end swap coming up.

No rush here, but please call me me some time to inform me of what is what, I have trouble with remembering stuff and I don't know what stuff at different places in the front suspension are called any more... :)

I'd still love to get a few poly bushings, the car is too loosy goosy as it sits, and needs to be tighter and nicer once I get myself walking again.

I also need to get the T5 Adapter kit from you, I'll get that from you in 3 weeks when I can afford it, and then an underdrive pulley, 2 rib, sans 36-1 wheel, don't need it, like my distributor just fine. :)

Sorry, I haven't checked out the forums for quite a while. If I'm not too late I want the essential bushing kit for my '95 944T. Call or PM me with price. No huge hurry on getting the parts.

Thanks,

Roj

If you haven't ordered.

I need some accessory bushings. For my PS pump (Non-AC) and my alternator.

Just get me a price and I'll send it where it needs to go!

Again, I apologize for not getting to this. Seems like life is too busy. I'll try to get in touch with everyone individually and iron out exactly what you want/need and get these ordered. Don't know if you've been following the thread on T'bricks but it seems Tien is out of most things and they are waiting for more stock to arrive from Australia. Seems also that SuperPro is actually out of stock in some of the items and has to make more. Could be a while before the 740 stuff materializes...

Ok guys...here goes...

Raz...no poly engine mounts from me and RSI didn't have any when I was down there so you are stuck with diesel mounts. I do have another option but I'll have to do some inquiring as to exactly what they are. They are rubber/steel but are much much stiffer than the stock mounts. I ran them in my 242 for a bit but the buzzing and vibration was driving me crazy so I replaced them with stock mounts. I gave that set to James for his 242. Perhaps he has some feedback as to how they are vs the poly mounts.

7/9 series...Roj and Raz...I have no idea what you may want in an "essential" kit. I'm not even that well schooled on the 7/9 series suspension, particularly the rear, so I'm not much help. Other than the swaybar bushings there are three different bushing sets for the front. the 1023 bushings are the ones that get replaced regularly. The 2012 and 2013 bushings don't look that difficult to replace but I've never done it. I think Matt has done a full front swap on one of his 7 series cars so perhaps he can chime in. I can tell you the rears will not be available for some time yet so perhaps go with the fronts for now and once I hear the rears are available I can let you know.

I think the pricing should be close depending on what he finally decides my cost is. It will be within 10% though, I would think. I might ask for a little extra to cover shipping although spread out over 6 or 8 orders, that won't be more than $5 each...

I'm sending everyone that has expressed interest a PM to confirm what they want and how much they owe me...

Thanks for your patience.

Hopefully Matt can chime in with what an essential kit for a 745 is :) I am rather unschooled when it comes to things such as bushings, but need more than anything to get that horrible feeling of "sloppiness" out of my volvo.

Let me know, hopefully someone will school us on what I should replace regardless, what wears out on all cars, etc :)

One minor hitch...T'bricks is down right now so I can't contact my guy to get a final cost on stuff. I'll try again after work...

I think the only thing that gets hammered out in a 700 are the conical bushings at the front of the stay rod (where it bolts through the control arm) They are the easiest to replace, conveniently... The other two sets of bushings are less essential but replacing both is fairly easy (I did them both with my bench vise) and will give added stiffness in the front. The front sway bushings are a good idea if you've got the stock sway bar, but I've never bothered.

The rear suspension in a 740 hasn't seen much in the way of poly yet. The torque rod bushings, subframe mount bushings, panhard bushings, and clamshell bushings could all be designed for this car, but the front of the trailing arm has bushings that wouldn't translate well to poly. Why nobody has made these bushings yet, I don't know. Apparently Superpro has made SOME of these, but nobody's seen any yet.

OK...PMs are being sent as I finally got my price list... :D

Should add something here as well. The rear bushings for the 7/9 series cars are still not available. They are listed and have a price but SuperPro has not made any yet. We are not sure when they plan to do this. Until they actually make some it's sort of pointless to order them. I know there were loads ordered in the group buy so it's not like we have to order some for Tein to bring them in. We can just hope they actually bring in more than have been ordered...
