You fail at life Kat.

if you wanted to do anything awesome, ever, you'd buy that car and drop the tranny with the help of your cvc homeboys, sell other parts from the car you don't need and have paid NOTHING for the car. I mean, how fucking awesome a weekend would that have been, huh? Huh?!

I live vicariously though all my friends now, I need you all not to be so boring and do awesome exciting things so my life doesn't suck (vicariously so).

lol got $300 sitting around you care to donate to the cause raz?

*edit* cause if it has pegs I'm keepin those ;)

ALSO....doesn't the tranny need a new ecu or something?

I have the feeling there would be other costs involved other than beer/ice wine for all who help and...yeah....

Iunno, there's probably all sorts of costs assosciated, and bullshit here there and everywhere. I just thought it would be cool for you :)

I doubt that it has pegs haha.

Yeah...it's the other costs involved that just terrify me. Getting dead car towed...etc etc.

It's cool....in theory.

But again, since I still don't know how much longer I'm gonna keep this beast running for....and I think most of the boys would just RUN SCREAMING from even the THOUGHT of helping me with a tranny conversion (admit it, y'all would)...

yeah...I'll just keep to the status quo...even though yes, a stick would be much more fun.

and edit...I doubt so too...but I don't know what pegs came with, if they came with at all....all I know is they are pretty.

WOW is that how y'all talk out in acme? cus if thats the way it is sign me up! i haven't really used that word with out someone looking at me sideways or laughing since my days in Georgia!

P.S. DOOOOO IT!! a 5 speed would be way more fun! you could defiantly sell the rims for something good. if it actually is a '93 that was the only year of the 850's to have 4 bolt rims and they would fit on to an early model S40 so some one our there would probably buy them as winter rims instead of the crappy steelies most S40's have for winter. There are a lot of other parts on that car unique to '93 that you could pull off and sell. it would defiantly be worth it!

Although I agree that installing a 5 speed would be a very nice conversion your quote mentioned above is one of the wisest things you have said.

I would say 100% yes IF you had a second car and the S70 was your toy, but seeing as it is a daily driver and reliability is foremost work on getting it running right as it is.

OK young one, flame away

Actually what I meant was I would rather live in a small town where y'all is used to refer to someone than in a big city.

and just for the record "y'all" is one person and "all y'all" or "alls y'all" is two people or more.

[jack sparrow voice]...and I can't believe that the words are coming outta me mouth, but I agree with captain Kat.[/jack sparrow voice]

On your toy, adapt away. On your DD that costs you your job to not have run right...yeah, no.

Exactly. I mean, by all means I HOPE (knock on wood let me win the lottary) to find a new DD soon...whether I keep Christine on or not is a question of whether I can resolve this gd misfire issue....(please just be the coil please just be the coil!) because...well...I kinda like the idea of having a bit of a backup car in case of deer or mechanical death...

But...new DD is not in the budget just yet....and damned people are coveting their TDI's....boo!
