There's a '92 (I think) 740 turbo sedan at Bucks. Mostly complete but for the rad. It's silver with a nice grey leather interior. Can't see anything wrong with it so could be blown engine or turbo...

Not that I have time to go down there and do anything about it before I take off on 2 weeks holidays (even if the car is still there) but was it an automatic or a manual ?

Typo? 140 series didn't appear until '67. It's a '73 or '74; untouched underneath because it's sitting over a big pool of water... B20. Carbs are gone. Interior was from a GL with the puffy leather seats...

If anyone is interested there is a silver 240 turbo wagon out there right now. The body looks great. Couldn't see any rust on the tailgate. It had a full set of Virgos on it too. If you want something from it go pull it yourself. I was out there this morning and it's not fun...

Beware of the one at PNP right now - it's a '90 so it's LH 2.4 and most parts are incompatible with the parts you bought off Tbrix.

Went yesterday to get a few things...so cold! There's 1 86 740, and I think 5 240's. One of the 240's has a full set of virgos that look like they're in perfect shape if someone wants them.

There's a silver '86 244 GL down at PNP right now. It has a black leather interior that's near perfect. Well, the back seat is perfect and so is the passenger seat up front. There is a tear in the leather on the backrest of the driver's seat but the squab is in good shape. An auto upholstery shop could easily replace the torn panel in the front seat back so you'd have a perfect black leather interior. The car body appears to be in pretty good shape with very little rust. Hasn't been hit so must have a blown engine or something. If someone is looking for a good low-rust 240 body they should really look at this one. GLs have sunroofs and are pretty rare in post '83 or '84 240s and quite rare in post '85.

I need a 89- 740 drivers side fender preferably in light blue metallic so I don't have to paint it, a decent bumper cover would be nice too. If someone see's one if you could pull it or let me know it's there that would be swell. The color code is 215 and looks like this:

I can give you the LF off my green '89... clearly you'd have to paint it. You can help yourself to any other body parts you like too.

Thanks Matt!! I appreciate that. I'll keep an eye out for a light blue one for a bit to see if I get lucky and find one, it's not a common color so if I can't get one I'll grab yours. I think I just about have everything i need other than the fender, and probably the DS bumper cover extension, accordion whatever it's called. The bumper cover actually looks pretty good so all i should need is new plugs to re-attach it.
