That's going to be tight when the toilet gets installed...looking good.

Actually it is decieving, 22" between the tightest part of toilet to vanity, our builder has the toilet to vanity closer that that in the master bath.
OK now I see what you are thinking, the toilet goes sideways beside the vanity, not facing it
There is over 5 feet in front of the toilet... lots of room for a walker

Glad to hear that it will be fine...I thought the code was 24" around a toilet - but it's been a few years since I actually had to "know" that sort of thing.

If that's the case, neither of the bathrooms in my house are to code. Not that it would surprise me to find out that they aren't...

To my understanding it is 24" side to side of the toilet (12" centre). That was the distance between the wall and the vanity beside the toilet in the original version of this bathroom.

This makes sense - I knew there was a 24 inch rule in there somewhere. Anyway - how's the paint colour doing? I'd go 2 steps darker on that chip.

Anything Goes:
A little section for things that don't seem to fit anywhere else. Got a question about the site? Want to test something? Whatever - do it here.

Thats why it is called the shitter in so many circles in american.

The "bathroom" on the boat is decidedly not to code. With only fiberglass and wood.

Dry wall is a pain in the ass in small rooms. A nice square garage is a dream in comparison.

We finally decided on the paint, just finished the first coat.
I was with you Craig wanting the color darker, we checked and tested dozens on samples but all the dark colors minimized the impact of the tile, so we have gone lighter and I must say Joan and I likes it :D
